PurposeThe purpose of this website is to gather resources and reference materials concerning Stoddard County under one "modernized" umbrella website. There are not a lot of digital resources readily available online, especially in the form of photographs. It is my intention that this website act not only as a medium for my students to learn how to research and learn about local history, but also a place that other researchers may share and learn as well.

2. It really does not do anyone any good if we have a large collection of photographs that are unavailable for use. 3. Consolidate a wide variety of Stoddard County history not found anywhere else, such as, military history, social history, and racial/ethnic history. Many of these aspects of Stoddard County history have long been forgotten. 4. A hub to trade and gather information from other researchers. 5. A place that my students can research local history and display it on a published and public level. |
